I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to ritual tools. I'm a big believer of using something that feels good. My regular ritual knives are good examples of this.

My regular athame is a letter opener my wife bought for me on our honeymoon in 1982. It came from, of all places, the Magic Kingdom at DisneyWorld! There used to be a shop in Cinderella's Castle that sold swords, knives, etc., many of which were Damascened items from Toledo, Spain.

Close-up of the hilt. The dove attracted me, such an interesting juxtaposition between a symbol of peace on a weapon of war (albeit a miniature one).
For a couple of years, I used this knife exclusively in Ceremonial Magick, in banishings and casting CM circles. I didn't feel the need to get a new athame to do Goddess rituals, so it's served me well to this day.
